More than 100 bodies have been brought to a local hospital in Ahmedabad following the tragic crash of Air India Flight AI 171 on Thursday. The London-bound flight, carrying 242 passengers, went down just five minutes after taking off from Ahmedabad airport, leading to a devastating scene that has resulted in this significant number of fatalities.

Ahmedabad's Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport has resumed flight operations, with services now available from 4:05 PM IST, the Ministry of Civil Aviation confirmed. The airport had temporarily suspended all operations following the tragic Air India plane crash earlier today, and officials stated that flight safety protocols are now being followed with the utmost care as normalcy returns to the facility.

The High Commission of Canada has extended its deepest condolences following the tragic Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad, confirming that their thoughts are with the families and loved ones of the victims. The London-bound flight was carrying 242 passengers, including one Canadian national, as confirmed by Air India.

The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has announced it will launch a comprehensive probe into the Air India plane crash that occurred at Ahmedabad airport on Thursday. The ill-fated Air India Dreamliner Boeing 787, carrying 242 individuals including 12 crew members, crashed shortly after its take-off for London. Officials confirmed that the AAIB Director General and Director of Investigation, among other key personnel, are immediately departing for Ahmedabad to commence the critical inquiry into the tragic incident.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has arrived at Ahmedabad's Asarwa Civil Hospital to personally assess the situation, where injured passengers from the Air India plane crash are being treated. The London-bound flight, carrying 242 individuals including 169 Indian, 53 British, seven Portuguese, and one Canadian national, tragically crashed five minutes after taking off from Ahmedabad airport earlier today.
